Merrill Landers, DPT, OCS Dr. Landers received his BS in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University in 1993. In 1997, he received his doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) from Creighton University. He has subsequently worked in an outpatient setting treating a full spectrum of patients including orthopedics, geriatrics and neurorehabilitation. He continues to practice occasionally on a per diem basis in an outpatient setting. He is currently serving on the Continuing Education Advisory Committee for the Nevada State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. He also serves as Chair of the Nevada Physical Therapy Association Research Committee. In 2001, he became an ABPTS Certified Specialist in Orthopedics. Dr. Landers is the lead instructor for neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, pharmacology. Research Interests Nerve regeneration, abnormal illness behavior, work injury prevention, relationship between pulmonary function and posture, balance impairment, fall risk assessment, Parkinson's disease, attentional focus, and neuroplasticity Education Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah - B.S.
