Transitional DPT Program
Dear Colleagues:
Many of you have been calling for information regarding the transitional DPT program. As you know, when we initiated our DPT program at UNLV, part of the proposal allowed for a transitional DPT for our former students. Therefore, we have received approval for this program to begin. We are excited for this opportunity and hope it will allow many, if not all of you, to receive your DPT degree. We have worked hard to make this program fair and equitable. The flexibility of the program should allow you to complete the coursework in a timely manner. Please refer to the attachments for specifics and details. Any of the faculty will be glad to answer your questions.
Prospective students will be required to fill out departmental as well as graduate school applications. The deadline for Summer and Fall 2007 applications is January 31, 2007. We would advise you to initiate this process early as we would like students to begin the Summer of 2007. Please visit our departmental web site to download additional copies of the application.
